Our Galaxy Editorial Illustrations
The Client:
Our Galaxy is a community, content, and coaching platform that empowers founders and ambitious business professionals to create the careers of their dreams by helping cultivate a supportive community with like-minded go-getters, while honing their skills and building their confidence as industry thought leaders.
The Creative Process:
As lead illustrator for Our Galaxy’s editorial work, I worked directly with Our Galaxy’s CEO, Kasey Jones, to craft a cohesive vision for the community’s blog content and downloadable resources. These designs were created to be used in numerous ways across a variety of content pieces to amplify the Our Galaxy mission and brand.
When it came to the illustration process I first started by brainstorming a variety of scenes, people and objects. The goal was to keep the editorial side of the website as fun and light-hearted as possible, mainly focusing on the theme of exploration. Once brainstormed, I hand sketched each design before moving the process to Adobe Illustrator. From there each design was vectorized and ready for digital and print purposes.
